Top 10 Rankings Best Fan Bases



  1. LSU
People come into tiger stadium to watch a football game and continually want to come back for more and more because of their experience. Death Valley also holds the sound record for a college football game.
  1. Alabama
Alabama has always had a huge fan base and the passion of their fans is unreal compared to anyone else. Alabama is always good on the field and in the stands.
  1. Ohio State
With Urban Meyer as a head coach Ohio State comes out with SEC quality in a Big Ten location. After a national championship the fans will be ready for more.
  1. Auburn
Auburn fans have their traditions and they love to watch their team win. They are known as the spoiled fans of college football because of their traditions.

Michigan has the biggest attendance average. They are loud and never lack passion. The Big House will be extra loud now with Jim Harbaugh at the helm.

Texas is a football state and they love their Longhorns. Their fans show their support by buying the most merchandise of any other Division 1 team.

Penn State fan base is big and loyal. They’ve finished in the top 5 in attendance the past 5 years despite the allegations and sanctions that hampered them.

The 12th man does have an impact on games. These fans are always energized and ready to go.

Only team to have its own national TV contract and for good reason. These fans are nationwide and travel well.

People in Nebraska say football is way of life their. When they win everyone is happy and even the economy is better.
